• Was a participant in a world record event by an Indian in the category of maximum members in a virtual yoga class, an event held on International Yoga Day on 21st June 2023.

Dr Madhavi Sathe, Department of Home Economics - Nutrition and Meal Management

• Defended the doctoral research titled Development of a Validated Colour-based Diet Scale (CDS) for Assessing Dietary Diversity and Quality of Diet under the guidance of Dr Shobha Udipi, Hon. Director, Integrative Nutrition and Ayurceuticals, Medical Research Centre-Kasturba Health Society, Mumbai on 7 June 2023 at the PG Department of Food Science and Nutrition, SNDT Women’s University.
• Was invited as subject expert to conduct interviews for faculty appointments at the Life Science Institute on 28-6-2023 at the Bombay College of Pharmacy Campus, Kalina

Ms. Hemlata Kumar, Coordinator, BMS, qualified Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH- SET) conducted by Pune University on 26th March, 2023. The result was declared on 27th June, 2023.

Dr. Jyotsana Lal, Department of Economics, authored a Quiz Booklet “GYANKOSH” for the students who are preparing for competitive examinations. It was e-released by management members on 14th June 2023.

• Dr. Archana Patki conducted a workshop on “Life skills for the silver aged” as a part of the Pre-retirement training program organised by our college in association with Graceful Living and Tulsi Trust on 25 th August 2023.
• Dr. Daksha Dave, In-charge Commerce Faculty organised a session on “Writing a good research paper and getting it published in a reputed journal” on 5 th August 2023. It was organised by the Economics Department in association with NAAC - Criteria 3 Team.
• CA Ms. Soumya Nichani, Assistant Professor, Department of Accountancy, authored an e-Book titled “Fundamentals of E-Commerce” published by REST Publishers, ISBN No.: 978-81-965465-1- 9. It was a joint publication where she was the first author.
• Dr. Shubhangi Kulkarni, Coordinator, M.Com, was invited as a resource person by Maniben Nanavati College, Vile Parle for a workshop on “Research Methodology” for the students of SY BCom, TY BCom and TY BAFI on 28th August 2023.
• Dr. Shital Mandhare, Full-time Lecturer, M.Com, was invited as a resource person by Maniben Nanavati College, Vile Parle for a workshop on “Beginning the Journey of Research” for the students of SY Bcom, TY Bcom and TY BAFI on 29th August 2023.
• Dr. Rekha Shelar, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, worked as a Mumbai Zone Team Coordinator in Youth Chat Show, organised by Prasar Bharati, Akashvani Mumbai in collaboration with SNDT Women’s University, under India’s G20 Presidency. The session was held at Committee Room SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, on 23 rd August 2023.
• Dr. Prashant Deshpande, full-time lecturer, Department of Hindi has been appointed as the members of the Board of Studies at Vinayak Ganesh Vaze College Mulund.
• Dr. Vrushali Chaughule, full time lecturer, Department of Hindi, published research paper titled “आधुनिक हिंदी साहित्य मे चित्रित स्त्री सशक्तिकरण के विविध आयाम” in Akshar Varta - an International Research Journal with ISSN: 2349-7521, Referred Peer Reviewed Journal, Vol-.XIX, Issue no. • Dr. Avaneesh Bhatt published a Gujarati novel of about 1,15,000 (one lakh fifteen thousand) words titled Keval Maari Ankhoma (केवल मारी आंखोमां) . This being his second novel. Besides this, he has 8 publications to his credit.

• Dr. Madhavi Sathe, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Home Economics (Nutrition & Meal Management) received her Doctoral Degree at the annual convocation held at SNDT Women’s University on 17th February 2024.

• Dr. Archana Patki - Head, Department of Psychology worked as member of the organising committee of Multidisciplinary International conference on “Different AND Equal: Psychological Lens to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” jointly organised by Bombay Psychological Association Trust and Department of Psychology, Smt. P.N. Doshi Women’s College on 1 st and 2 nd March 2024. She also chaired a scientific session on the sub-theme “Diversity Spectrum: Gender, Sexuality, Class, Disability, Ethnicity” on 2 nd March, 2024.
